MOVE IN PROCEDURES

 
(1) Provide complete application(s), Identification, and security deposit. Allow 72 business hours for processing. Applicants should receive a notice regarding approval.
 
(2) After application approval, new tenants must schedule an appointment to sign their lease and complete all paperwork. This process will take about 30 minutes for signing and to receive various Malls information. (Lease signing should be completed within 2 weeks, depending on actual move-in date.)
 

(3) New tenants must schedule a MOVE-IN APPOINTMENT with the Malls office before the move-in date.

 

(4) Before, or during MOVE-IN appointment, all new tenants must provide:
A Westar Energy Confirmation # (See Below)
Full/prorated rent for the month of move-in.
Any Security Deposit Balance.
A personal contact phone number.
Car/s description and tag number for any tenant owned vehicles.

 
(5) At MOVE-IN tenant will receive a full set of keys (knob, deadbolt, post box), parking permits, and any other keycards they have requested.

Deposit requirements are based on two months of average billing the past twelve months. Deposits may be in cash, letter of credit or cosigner. Early applications will receive priority. Seven to ninety days usually will assure service when requested. However some delay may be experienced on peak days. Same day service is not assured during the summer months. Applications taken earlier in the day, i.e. soon after opening, may avoid holding on the telephone. Online at: www.westarenergy.com
